Ali Bone

My journey within the Early Childhood sector started back in 1994 and I began working at Pine Rivers Kindy in 2012, assisting the Nominated Supervisor within her role. At the end of 2013, I really felt the need to be back with the children, so started relief work at services around my local area. For the next 2 years this was perfect for me. Then 2015 I started back at Pine Rivers part time as a support worker. 2016 saw me return to a permanent role a Director/Teacher. 2017 saw me move to the office 5 days as a non-contact Director looking after all aspects of the kindergarten from staff to the admin side of things under the direction of our Management Committee. I love my role, but certainly miss being in a room with the children. Hence why I enjoy when staff are away, as I can pop back into the room for the day! Without a doubt, Pine Rivers Kindergarten is the most wonderful place to be.

Lisa McCallum

My name is Lisa McCallum and I am Teacher at Pine Rivers
Kindergarten. Since 2005 I have been teaching as an early childhood teacher in community kindergartens. Prior to that, I have worked as a teacher in a variety of settings including lower primary grades and child care services for around 5-6 years. I am a mum to three of my own children, so I can totally relate to all the joys and challenges of modern parenthood.
There is a lot to love about being a Kindergarten teacher but one of the best parts is the genuine connections and relationships that grow between the children and myself as well as the creative and fun ways I can nurture children’s learning. I also love working alongside families and supporting them as they help their children grow.

Bonnie Thomson

My name is Bonnie and I’m a kindergarten teacher at Pine
Rivers Kindy. I am very excited to be teaching your children. I have been teaching kindy since 2010 and have various other roles working with children. I am a mum of 5 and my youngest daughter had attended kindy here at Pine Rivers in 2020, so I am very familiar with the kindy.
I love crafting, taking holidays in our caravan and spending time outdoors with my big family.

Tracy Eising

My name is Tracy and I am an Early Childhood teacher at Pine Rivers Kindergarten. I am a fully registered QLD teacher with a bachelor’s degree in Education, specialising in Early Childhood. I began working with young children for over 16 years and have my own son, who is in primary school, and a young daughter. I have worked in a variety of different settings including long day care running the Kindergarten program, Primary schools including prep, year 1 and 2 and Community based Kindergartens. I would have to say that working with children in the kindy age group is where my true passion is, as I love seeing the developmental changes and building their confidence in preparation to transition to school life.

Carmel Allen

My name is Carmel and I am a Teaching Assistant at Pine Rivers
Kindergarten. I am a girl from the country who moved to the City for work. I am married with twin girls. Life is still busy. We also have 2 puppies, 4 birds and 3 chickens in our family. As a family we love camping, going to the beach, going out for coffee and hanging out with our large extended family.
My background is in admin and finance, but I have worked in the Early Childhood sector since about 1995. In 2002, I left to raise my twins.
Then returned to Pine Rivers Kindy in mid 2015 as an Admin Officer and was given the opportunity to move back into a room in 2018. The 4/5 year old age group is one of my favourite ages, as the children have a great thirst for knowledge and learning, and they are still full of wonderment. I have a Cert 3 in Early Childhood Education plus the required First Aid certifications and mandatory training requirements.

Miranda Conserdyne

My name is Miranda and I am a full time Educator at Pine
Rivers Kindergarten. I have been working in the early childhood industry since 2016. Previously, I was a Qualified Chef working in a busy city hotel. In 2008, I took a few years off to raise my three children, before heading into the early childhood industry.
Growing up, my mother was an educator, director and teacher in the early childhood industry and it was always a passion of mine. I absolutely love working with children, watching them learn, play and grow into unique, capable little people. Knowing that I play a part in their early years at Kindy is truly a privilege.

Pine Rivers Kindy respectfully acknowledges the Gubbi Gubbi people, the traditional owners of the land on which our kindergarten stands. We pay respect to all Elders, past, present and future.
